Sharing A Personal Tragedy

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, I unexpectedly lost the love of my life late last year. Joe and I had a truly magical relationship. We had loved and cared for one another since I was 15 years old. He left us much too soon.

To say the past few weeks have been difficult would be the understatement of a lifetime. There are no words to express the pain my family and I have been dealing with. I truly appreciate the outpouring of support my family and I have experienced. With this love, we have begun our journey through the healing process. We will make our way through this difficult chapter together.

In trying times, it is vital to keep in mind the importance of self-care and healing. When faced with great pain, our reflex is often to seek isolation. To try and hide from the pain. But the healing journey is a communal one. As I set out on this new chapter in my life, I'm acutely aware of the importance of a loving community to healing and self-care.

Tragedies like Joe's passing remind us that trauma is a part of life. As Sophocles wrote more than 2,000 years ago, "You must remember that no one lives a life free from pain and suffering."

Please feel free to reach out to me through my Facebook page or email. Feeling the love of friends and family is critical to the healing process. Your kind words and memories of Joe that help keep his legacy alive mean the world to us

I know that the next few weeks and months will be among the most trying of my life.

But as impossible as it may seem, when we encounter deep trauma like the passing of a loved one, we have no choice but to move forward. To walk down the path of healing and love, and to do our best to find inner peace.

I hope you will accompany me as we continue on this journey we call life together.

While I have suspended my wellness seminars for the time being, I plan on returning to my work in the next few months. Additionally, I'll soon be sharing some updates and news that I hope will not only help me heal, but will also help you make the most of 2023.

Thank you for your past and continuing support, and I wish for you and your loved ones to have a healthy and joyous New Year.

With Love,

Gail
